Shelley Haslip Hicks, of Walpole, NH, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She had a recent diagnosis of lung cancer. Shelley was born in Providence, RI, January 25, 1950, to the late Robert and Ann Haslip.

Shelley is survived by her husband of 54 years Randall Hicks, daughter, Kelley Hicks and granddaughter, Grace Conety of Walpole, NH. Shelley was predeceased by her son, Christopher Hicks.

Additional survivors include her sisters, Lori Shaughnessy and husband, Dan of Bellows Falls, Sharon Colaneri of Rhode Island, Janet Hicks of Walpole and brother, Bob Haslip of Florida. She is also survived by her niece, Amy Royce of Westmoreland, nephews, Kevin Hicks of Langdon, NH, Daren Hicks of Unadilla NY, Gregory Gendreau of Walpole, NH and Patrick Shaughnessy of Bellows Falls, VT.

Shelley attended FMRHS and worked in the SAU60 School District in various roles through the years.

There will be a Graveside Service on April 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Walpole Village Cemetery. A Celebration of Life for Shelley will take place that afternoon at the Watkins Tavern on Prospect Hill Rd from 12:00 until 2:00 PM.
