Robert Wayne Damon “Bobby”

August 4, 1985 - December 20, 2023

Robert Wayne Damon, “Bobby”, age 38, born in Springfield, Vermont who suddenly passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Bobby was an employee for Soundview Paper Company, located in Putney, Vermont for almost a decade, as well as a community member in Townshend, Vermont. He was always known as a “social butterfly”, chatting with people he sees while sharing laughs and smiles, but most of all Bobby was family. He was a father to his three children, the youngest, Braydn, the oldest, Makayla, and the middle-child, Skylah, who he now joins in the eternal beyond. He was a fiancé to his long term partner and mother of his children, RoseAnn Goetz, who he spent the last 19 years with. Bobby grew up with three siblings, his older brother, Joseph Ainsworth, and his younger siblings, Jessica Leary, and Richard Leary. He was a son to his mother, Lori Leary who welcomed him into this world on August 4, 1985, with his father, Tom Leary who he can now see in the afterlife. Bobby was also valued greatly as a “son-in-law” to RoseAnn’s parents, Evelyn Goetz and John Goetz. Bobby also joined John in the next world. He was also a nephew to many aunts and uncles. Not only was he family to many, he was a friend to all, and willingly would stop to help anyone in need. He had a way of brightening a room with his sunshine personality, making sure no one was left in the dark. He had many interests such as playing cribbage and Yahtzee, playing video games, watching movies, going on a nature walks, exploring, traveling, listening to music, writing poetry and songs, and drawing. He was a jack of all trades.
