Rachel C. Frisk, 80, formally of Kensington, CT passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2023, at her home in Townshend, VT. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hermiline (Caron) Coulombe born April 9, 1943, in Hartford CT. Mrs. Frisk attended school at St. Thomas Aquinas in New Britian, CT and she worked for 45 years in customer service for several large insurance companies including Connecticut Mutual, Mass Mutual and Lincoln Financial. For more than seven years, Rachel courageously battled several health issues, she was always a strong fighter. Rachel leaves behind her husband of 61 years Nils K. Frisk, her two sons, Steven Frisk of Townshend with whom she resided and Kenneth Frisk of Coventry, CT, a granddaughter, Kendra Frisk of Tolland, CT and many nieces and nephews. Rachel was predeceased by her brothers and their wives, Raoul and Jean Coulombe, and Mark and Beverly Coulombe, Gerry and Terry Coulombe, and Roger Coulombe.

After retiring in 2013, Rachel and her sons had many fun trips to Mohegan Sun. Rachel’s true place of peace was the beach. She enjoyed hundreds of trips to Cape Cod and the Rhode Island beaches.

The family will have a graveside service in the Spring at Oakwood Cemetery in Townshend.
