Priscilla M. Rodgers

January 10, 1943 - June 7, 2025

Priscilla M. Rodgers, 82, of Westminster Street passed away on June 7, 2025, at her home. She was born on January 10, 1943, the daughter of Fred and Alice (Green) Arbuckle in Randolph, VT. She attended schools in Randolph. Priscilla worked as a housekeeper at Vermont Academy in Saxtons River.

On May 13, 1959, she married Robert Rodgers who predeceased her. She is survived by her son, James Rodgers and wife, Nancy of Bartonsville, daughter, Sharon Lester of Bellows Falls and brother, Walter and wife, Elizabeth Arbuckle. Grandchildren Jeremy and Frederick Scott, Timothy and Thomas Arbuckle, Kevin Thomas, Shawn Thomas (Jenn) Kendra Ingalls (Kel), James Mills (Carrie). Great-grandchildren, Hannah and Carson Arbuckle, Scott Thomas, Maddison Thomas, Gavin Ingalls, Shawny Thomas and Sam Thomas and a great-great-grandchild.

Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son, Robert and daughter, Sandra Rodgers, and brother, Ralph Arbuckle, and sister, Linda Rodgers.

She was a member of the Bartonsville Grange. She was a very giving person that donated handmade gifts to school children, the homeless and VFW. Priscilla touched many with her thoughtfulness of sending cards and letters no matter what the occasion. She enjoyed knitting/crocheting, playing bingo and a variety of other fun Christmas games. She was a kind person with a good heart and she will be missed by many.

There will be a graveside service on June 21, 2025, Saturday at 3:00 PM at Pleasant View Cemetery in Randolph, VT.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bartonsville Grange #481 on July 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM (116 Upper Bartonsville Road, Rockingham, VT).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT 05101.
