Philip W. Rogers

November 4, 1944 - April 22, 2024

Philip W. Rogers of Walpole passed away on April 22, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on November 4, 1944, to Paul Rogers Sr. and Alice (Rhodes) Rogers.

Philip attended schools in Walpole, NH. He later worked for All Seasons Construction, Burtco and Bomar Manufacturing in Charlestown, NH where he worked with his oldest son, Dana for 20 years.

Philip enjoyed woodworking and was an avid sports fan. He was a dedicated coach for the town, but also for his two sons, Spencer and Wade. While in his years of coaching he found his proudest moment to be not the games they won, but the Sportsmanship Trophy he and his team received. When he wasn’t busy working and applying his spare time to coaching, he later in life spent many days with his youngest son, Jesse helping pass on his trade skills with construction and life lessons.

He left behind his long-time companion, Sally Brooks of 34 years. They would take yearly trips to North Carolina and Loudon, New Hampshire to enjoy the need for speed at the racetracks. They shared much love and many years of laughter and enjoyment together.

Philip is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Robert, Paul, and Richard Rogers. He is survived by his long-time companion, Sally Brooks, his children, Dana Rogers, Spencer Rogers and his wife, Dawn, Jesse Rogers and partner, Tandra Lizotte, Wade Rogers and wife, Nancy Rogers, stepchildren, Hope Brooks, GayEllen Sayer and her husband, Keith Sayer and Hunter Brooks. Philip’s grandchildren, Amanda Rogers, Brayden Rogers, Ellee Rogers, Billy Rogers, Samantha Valdivia and husband, Robert, Hunter Joseph Brooks, and Hayley Valdivia, and soon arrival baby, Griffin. Philip’s siblings, Gus Rogers, Marjorie Anne Rogers, Joan Alice Sylvester, and Katie Kittredge.
