Maureen Faye Adams
Maureen Faye Adams, of Alstead, NH unexpectedly, but peacefully, passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, March 25, 2024. Maureen was born to Robert and Joyce Adams on July 7, 1955. She grew up as the eldest of five and embraced the role of big sister known as “Meme.” Maureen started her career in education as a teacher at the Farwell School in North Charlestown, NH. She left the teaching profession to follow another career path that kept her closer to home and her own children; this is where she began her decades long service at RN Johnson, Inc. and Durand Automotive. Once her children were grown, Maureen was able to answer her calling for public service and teaching, through ministry, which she believed was her ultimate purpose in life. Maureen will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, her love of the ocean, her gentle and tender heart to all those she encountered, the dedication to every community she lived in, but most of all her faith. Maureen was a life-long giver.
Maureen was predeceased by her parents and sister, Margo Adams. She is survived by: her loving husband and soulmate, Roger Beaudoin, her three children, Mark Bowen, Christopher Bowen, and Joy Chaffee, and their spouses, her grandchildren, Luke Bowen, Rebekah Bowen, Niko Bowen, Haidyn Chaffee and Taryn Chaffee, her remaining three siblings, Maria Blackmore, Marcia Allen, and Chip Adams, their spouses and families, as well as many other loving family members, and of course, her church families and local communities that she always considered to be her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Third Congregational Church in Alstead, NH on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM with reception to follow. Arrangements are by Fenton and Hennessy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Third Congregational Church (PO BOX 164, Alstead, NH 03602).
As Maureen would say “God bless.”
