Matthew Wajdowicz, 87, passed away on August 8, 2026, at his home in Westminster, VT. He was born in Derby, CT, the son of Stanley and Caroline (Bak) Wajdowicz. He attended schools in Derby, CT. He went on to serve his country in the United States Coast Guard. On June 17, 1983, he married Theresa (Pulaski) who survives.

He was a member of the American Legion in Rocky Hill and St. Michael Church.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa and children, Mark (Annie) Wajdowicz, Bonnie (Ed) Davis, and Kimberly Sampiere and her fiancé, David Trapanese and grandchildren, Zachary, Amber and Laci. He is the last surviving member of his family.

Matthew is predeceased by his parents and first wife, Betty Ann.

A graveside service will be held at Saint Michael’s Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
