Margaret “Peggy” A. McDermott of Charlestown, NH passed away on April 9, 2025, at the Jack Byrnes Center in Lebanon, NH. Peggy was born on November 11, 1944, in Brookline, MA to George and Margaret (Murphy) Mackey. Peggy was married to her husband, Dana for more than 58 years. Peggy worked many years in produce at Ralph’s Supermarket in Charlestown. Peggy was involved with Cub Scouts as a den mother and was very involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Charlestown Fire Dept. Peggy loved the beach and most of all she always considered her family as her greatest gift.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Dana and her sons, Brian (Kelly), Michael (Mary) and Joseph (Shelley), grandchildren, Taylor, Tory, Emily, Tobin, Finch and a great-grandchild, Emmerson. She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Mary (Robert) Green.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in North Walpole. Burial will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery after the Mass.
