Judith Ann Picard Walker

October 17, 1939 - June 6, 2024

Judith A. Walker of Rollings Hill Dr in Hinsdale passed away on June 6, 2024, at her home with her family at her side. Judith was born in Providence, RI to Betty (Mandigo) Fuller on October 17, 1939.

Judith graduated high school. On September 12, 1959, at the United Church in Bellows Falls, she married her best friend and love of her life Robert H. Walker Jr, who survives.

As a teenager, she was a Rainbow Girl. Later on accompanying Bob and the band every week, and dancing with friends as Bob played. She shared quality time with three girlfriends, Judy, Brenda, and Sheena. Judith enjoyed snowmobiling and camping out, her times in Hawaii and also every moment shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Judith worked for the First National in Springfield, Vermont, A & P Store in Bellows Falls, she worked several years at Mac Molding in Proctorsville, Whitney Blake and Simmonds Precision retiring in 1991 and then spent several years offering personal care to a close friend.

Judith enjoyed monthly lunches with retired co-workers from Simmonds Precision, trips to Florida to see her family and beach vacations in Maine and Cap Cod. In 2011, her 4-generations all girl Nassau Cruise on the Monarch Seas which included Judy Walker, Brenda Frost and Sheena and Emmaline Bushee.

Judith is survived by her husband, Robert Walker Jr. and her daughter, Brenda Frost; her grandchildren, Sheena Bushee and Justin Spivey; great-grandchildren, Emmaline and Evan Bushee. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Gene A. Walker, and her siblings, Leroy Picard, Paul Picard, James Picard, and Sylvia Spaulding.

There will be no calling hours or service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
