John Michael Haley “JM”, 26, of Springfield, VT passed away at his home on July 23, 2026.

John was born on February 8, 2000, in Springfield, VT the son of John Haley and Winnifred Parker. John graduated from Sringfield High School in 2022.

Always having a way with sarcastic humor, he enjoyed visiting and laughing with everyone. JM was an enthusiastic shopper, always up for a trip to the store. He enjoyed festive gatherings, decorating for the holidays, going for scenic drives, talking walks and attending church. He loved going to the library, playing bingo, volunteering at local animal shelters, attending museums, fairs and having Mango-drink dates with his family and friends. JM was a huge MARVEL fan and a movie buff. He loved taking his friends to the movies. JM was a VIP regular at Springfield Cinemas 3. JM was also a video enthusiast, he loved playing video games with his family. JM was a special joy and light in this world. He brought laughter, love and inspiration to all those who knew him. He will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank all the nurses and care attendants and support staff who have helped brighten JM’s world through the years.

John is survived by his parents John and Racheal Tenney-Haley, and mom, Winnifred Parker. His siblings, Catarina Dunn, Tyler Haley, Victoria Haley, Tiffany Haley and Shaina Haley, as well as grandparents, Clara Peck and Gail Turner. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins and extended family.

He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Nieves and grandparents, Aden Parker, Bernard Haley Jr, and Dolly (King) Haley.

Funeral services will take place on August 15, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT. A burial will follow for family in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Bellows Falls. There will be a celebration of life starting at 2:00 PM at the Bartonsville Grange. The family would invite guests to wear your favorite superhero shirt.
