James (Jim/Jimmy) Robert Storey
James (Jim/Jimmy) Robert Storey, 78, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at his home in North Walpole, New Hampshire. Born on July 4, 1947, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, James lived a full and vibrant life marked by service, humor, and deep connections to those around him.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy with the rank of FN. After serving his country, James worked for Bucci and Sons Cutlery until his retirement.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Storey (Spaulding). James also leaves behind his brother, Thomas Andrew Storey and sister, Sylvia Ann Fishwick. Over the years, James embraced a large chosen family of children, nieces, nephews, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly and who brought great happiness into his life.
James was predeceased by his parents, Robert Storey and Isabella Storey (Landry), whose memory he carried with him always.
Those who knew James will remember him for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to bring laughter into any room. A passionate football fan, James rarely missed a game. James was an avid rider who found freedom on snowmobiles and motorcycles. Many of his most cherished moments were spent cruising scenic roads with his beloved dog, Buddy riding alongside him.
In recent times, James was able to remain home thanks to the support of loved ones who surrounded him with compassion and care during his final days. Their efforts allowed him to experience peace and comfort in familiar surroundings filled with love.
May the memory of James Robert Storey bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire laughter, loyalty and love in their hearts.
A celebration of his remarkable life will be held at the Charlestown Town Hall, in Charlestown, New Hampshire on February 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
