Homer Charles Adams

April 10, 1945 - March 23, 2024

Homer Charles Adams, 78, of Grafton Road died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Grace Cottage Hospital. Homer was born April 10, 1945, in Bellows Falls, VT to Vern and Madelyn Stevens Adams. He attended schools in Bellows Falls graduating in 1963, he also attended the Community College. In September of 1963, Homer enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served until September of 1969. Homer worked in Bellows Falls for DiBernardo and Associates and in Springfield for Jones and Lamson for several years. Homer also worked as a delivery driver for Rare Essentials and was delivery driver and dishwasher for Stone Arch Bakery. Homer was involved with a Bike Ministry where they spoke about God and offered coffee and pastries to motorcyclists in the Keene, NH area.

Homer was a member of the Cross Point Chapel in Lebanon, NH and Calvary Church in West Townshend. He is survived by one brother, Stanley Adams of Townshend and one sister, Verna Adams Lang and her husband, Calvin of Newfane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Ivan Adams.

There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel West River Valley, 6581 VT RT. 30, West Townshend, VT. Burial will be at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
