Gertrude Elizabeth (Parsons) Stoodley, of Northwest Street, died Monday, May 30, 2022, at the Sullivan County Home in Unity, NH. She was born July 7, 1927, in Springfield, VT, the daughter of Richard and Hazel (Thayer) Parsons. She was a 1947 graduate of Charlestown High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. 

On June 20, 1947, in Charlestown, NH she married Lewis Stoodley who predeceased her. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her two daughters, Sharon Richardson and Judy Philbrook as well as her oldest grandson, Carleton Richardson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacy Paradis, Craig Richardson, and Charles Philbrook, and six great grandchildren Owen, Mackenzie, Konner, Jaelynn, Brayden and Noah.

There will be a graveside service in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Springfield Hospital or Sullivan County Home.
