Gary Shepard of Bellows Falls, VT passed away peacefully in his home on February 23, 2025. Gary was born on November 21, 1959, in Springfield, MA to Lawrence and Hazel (Mingus) Shepard. After high school, he worked as a corrections officer for the state of Connecticut prison system. Gary was a member of the Italian Benefit Society and enjoyed playing horseshoes, pool, camping, and fishing. Gary enjoyed a crowed and being around family.

Gary is survived by his three children, Jamie, Melissa and Jeremy Shepard. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Domanic, Shelby, Jade, Cameron, and Camila. A great-grandchild, Anyiah, a daughter-in-law, Lauren, two stepchildren, CJ and Brittany and two people he held dear to his heart Laurie and Pamela.

There will be a service held on March 8, 2025, at the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, 3 Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT at 2:00 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
