Elinor Kiniry passed away in Viera, FL, May 19, 2025. She was born in Keene, NH on November 1, 1930, to Tom Barry and Ruth Leonard. She lived 89 years in Walpole, NH before moving to Florida in 2020 with her granddaughter, Kara.

She married Tom “Bobo” Kiniry on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1986.

Elinor enjoyed laying in the sun on her front porch and helping Bobo bale hay and cut corn for the farm. She was always driving the tractors and farm trucks. She loved spending time with her family and many, many grandchildren. Her grandchildren met up every Halloween at her house to go trick or treating in Walpole.

She worked as a waitress at the Dari Joy in Bellows Falls, VT the Ox Yoke in Westmoreland, NH and the Putney Inn in Putney, VT.

Elinor is survived by her children, Susan Graves-Grenz of Walpole, NH, Sandra MacKenzie of Marlborough, NH, Nancy Braun of San Antonio, TX, Thomas Graves and wife, Mary, of Walpole, NH, and Jane Bensenhaver and husband, Charles of Walpole, NH. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Chasse of Viera, FL and Sheila Vaillancourt of Walpole, NH, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, brothers, Robert and Leonard Barry, son-in-laws, Lee MacKenzie, and Klaus Grenz.

A Graveside Service will take place on June 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Walpole Village Cemetery.
