Deborah Ann (Hallock) White
Deborah Ann (Hallock) White, 73, of Claremont, NH, passed away peacefully in the early hours of July 18, 2025, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care at DHMC. She was surrounded by her close family until the very end.
Deborah was born to the late Flora and Francis Hallock. She was raised in Bellows Falls, VT, alongside her older brother, David Hallock of Bellows Falls, and her older (by three minutes) twin sister, Dolores Rice of Florida. She graduated from Bellows Falls High School in 1972.
January of that same year, she married Michael W. White. Though their marriage ended in 1990, she is survived by the three sons they shared and raised together: Shilo White (partner, Tabitha) of Charlestown, NH; Jason White (wife, Keri) of Charlestown, NH; and Travis White (wife, Elizabeth) of Warner, NH.
Deborah was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in her family. She was immensely proud of her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews. Many will lovingly remember her as a steady, caring person, with a strong presence in their lives.
Her working life included manufacturing positions at JH Dunning Corp, Bomar and Whelen Industries, before retiring in the early 2000’s. Deborah was known for her fierce independence, sharp wit, and relentless determination. She had a stubborn streak; one that often meant proving people wrong, especially when they told her she couldn’t do something. In true Deborah fashion, she held on until just after midnight; just so she could say she lived another day.
Deborah’s strength, spirit, and deep love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home of Bellows Falls, VT.
