Carol V. Reeve earned her wings on January 31, 2025. Carol was born on January 6, 1942, in New Britain, CT to William and Irma (Taylor) Van Stratum.

Carol graduated from New Britain Senior High School in 1959. After school, she worked for Southington Bank & Trust in Southington, CT. She also worked for the law firm of Carl J. Sokolowski in Southington, CT.

Carol married Phillip Reeve on May 12, 1962, in New Britain, CT.

After moving to Vermont, Carol worked for Salmon & Nostrand. She worked at the town hall in Bellows Falls, she also did the books for the Village Mobil Station that she owned with her husband, Phil. Carol was also a medical transcriptionist for the Walpole Clinic in Walpole, NH and for Grace Cottage Hospital until her retirement.

Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years Phil Reeve, her brothers, Peter Van Stratum (Cathy), John Van Stratum (Kathy), her sister, Mary Rivard (Robert), her sons, Christopher Reeve (Kelly), Daniel Reeve (Kim), her grandsons, Ethan Reeve (Stacey), Kyle Reeve (Katie), Mike Shepard (Brittany) and granddaughter, Lauren Eden (Marcus), her great-grandchildren, Beckham, Vera Jean, Lincoln, Reagan, Clark and Brinley, and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Irma, her in-laws, Edward and Patricia Reeve and a nephew, Mark.

There will be a private graveside service followed by a Celebration of Life, details to be announced at a later date.
