Annie spent her childhood years in Salem and Middlefield, MA, attending Salem and Gateway Regional Public Schools. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Salem State University studying social work. Annie settled in Brattleboro, Vermont as an adult where she quickly immersed herself in the community. An avid runner, Annie competed in a number of races and events, including two Tough Mudders.
In 2016, she became a devoted mother to her son, Holden Crosby.
Annie’s guiding stars were her compassion and generosity, and these traits shaped the course of her life. She had a deep faith in God. She was drawn to helping vocations and found satisfaction in serving others. She always made time for the “little things,” understanding the importance of daily doses of happiness. She often surprised family and friends with impromptu songs and handmade cards, and she brought magic into the everyday for her son, Holden. She delighted in trips to the West River, unbridled belly laughs, and she came alive while listening to rock and roll.
She was a proud and loving sister to Kathleen Skerry, Kathleen’s husband, Nick Tsolakis, Faith Savery, and Mark Morgenroth. She was a treasured, central figure in the life of her niece, Vasia Tsolakis. She was deeply committed to her entire extended family and leaves behind her stepfather, Donald Savery, stepmother, Rebecca Skerry, grandparents, Ivan and Sheila Jaszlics, her uncles, Scott Jaszlics and Scott Michaud, her aunts, Patti Julian, Emmanuelle Crepault, Andrea and Christine Jaszlics.
