James A. Seymour, Sr.

November 9, 1944 - June 2, 2026

James A. Seymour, Sr. of Charlestown, NH passed away on June 2, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family; he was 81. Jim was born on November 9, 1944, in Cusseta, Georgia the beloved son of Lona and Fred Frappiea.

Jim served his country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and was very proud of his service. He also proudly served another 20 years with the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Linda Ellen (Cray) Seymour of 64 years, his children, James A. Seymour, Jr. and wife, Penny, son, John A. Seymour, son, Fred C. Seymour and wife, Karen, son, Todd R. Seymour and wife, Tina, daughter, Miranda Adams and husband, Jay.

He is survived by his cherished seventeen grandchildren: Sharlene, Elizabeth, Victoria, Corbin, Kyra, Christine, Jacob, Trenten, Grace, Abby, Sierra, Catherine, Savannah, Ryer, Samantha, Alexandra and Sabrina. He is also survived by his cherished fifteen great-grandchildren: Mya, Nicholas, Noah, Joseph, Liam, Sophia, Luna, Jackson, Olivia, Vivian, Elowen, Vincent, Oliver and Eliza; additionally, expected greatgrandchild-January 9, 2027.

Jim is also survived by his loving brother, Joseph Frappiea and wife, Dee.

Jim is pre-deceased by his parents, his brother,Fred C. H. Frappiea, Jr. whom he served with in Vietnam, his sister, Connie Frappiea, and his great-grandchild, Jackson.

At Jim’s request there will be no immediate services at this time.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in White River Junction, VT and Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT 05101.
