Affectionately known as “Nanny” she is also survived by her eleven grandchildren: Elizabeth Galvis-Snide, Carolyn Edson, Michael Snide, Bridget Rolfs, Steven Corey Jr., Joseph Corey, Erin Brady, Brian Brady, James Brady, Benjamin Brady and Elissa Brady. She always said having grandchildren was a blessing, but she was able to enjoy the gift of 12 great-grandchildren: Eliza Ward; Troy, Liam and Seth Edson; Madelyn and Aidan Snide; Hadley, Brady and Weston Corey; Asher and Myles Rolfs and Bryson Corey.
Elizabeth worked for the Fall Mountain School District in the food service department for 27 years at the high school where she made many lifelong friendships with both staff and students. She was always inviting people to have tea with her and could be found up very early during hunting season to make sure all of the guys had breakfast before they left for a long day of hunting on Fall Mountain or wherever else they were headed. She made sure everyone was well fed and nobody could make mashed potato the way Nanny did.
Elizabeth had some very special friends whom she enjoyed visiting or chatting with- Rachel, Josanna, Karleen, Lynette, Amy, Linda, Heather, Joanne, Rose, Nancy and Maryagnes to name a few. Also, her honorary 4th son, Dennis Wright.
While at Keene Center she made many new friendships with both staff and residents. We would like to thank resident friends Sharin, Shirley, Steve and the staff for being there and caring about her while she was there.
