Marlene P. Wade

Marlene P. Wade of River St. in Alstead passed away on November 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
Marlene was born on October 11, 1933 in Ludlow Vermont the daughter of Edward and Beatrice (Hart) Proulx. Marlene graduated from Black River High School in 1951. She worked as a supervisor at Mountain Paper Products. She married LeRoy Wade who predeceased her in 2007. Marlene was a member of the Third Congregational Church of Alstead.
Marlene is survived by her son Allen (Sherri) and daughters Beatrice Porter, Debra (Michael) Stoodley, and Patti (William) Kemp. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and son-in-law Frederick and grandson Michael.
A Graveside service will take place Sunday November 16, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Alstead.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home 55 Westminster St. Bellows Falls, VT.
