Leo D. Howell
November 16, 1942 - May 10, 2025
Leo D. Howell of Bellows Falls, VT passed away on May 10, 2025, at the Jack Byrnes Center in Lebanon. Leo was born on November 16, 1942, to William and Virginia (Mortensen) Howell. After graduating high school, Leo attended Brigham Young University and was a member of the Elks Lodge #1619 and Polish American Club, he also enjoyed playing golf. Leo worked at Hubbard Farms for many years. On June 11, 1966, at St. Peter’s Church, Leo married Barbara (Griffin) Howell who survives.
Leo is also survived by his daughter, Heather Howell-Golder and grandchild, Finn Golder. He was predeceased by his parents.
A wake will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Church, Cherry Hill, Bellows Falls with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Drewsville, NH.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessy Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
