Doris (Dottie) M. Alamed of Gageville passed away on April 14, 2025, at her home after a long cancer battle. Dottie was born on March 5, 1959, in Middlebury, VT the daughter of John Porter and Sylvia (Currier) Porter. Dottie worked at the Hannaford Supermarket in the Deli department for many years.
Dottie loved coloring, she loved to travel and most importantly she adored her family and they were her greatest love.
Dottie is survived by her two children, Cynthia (Jay) Fraser and James Kinne, her three grandchildren, Trinity, Isaac and Braden and many friends. She is also survived by her best friend of over 50 years, Debbie Perron.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Fuld, Katherine Rose, and Bayada Hospice for their care and compassion.
Calling hours will be held on April 24, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
